Critical Reflection
“For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them,” Quoted by Aristotle. This quote is something that I took away from these past 13 weeks. Through all the assignments and the design proposal project, I felt for the first time in my education journey, I felt the freedom to create and express myself in writing and speaking. However, these come with many mistakes and ambiguity. My ultimate goal was to experience valuable lessons which can help develop my interpersonal skills and critical thinking. Technical wise, I hoped to be able to improve on my writing and public speaking. One of my key takeaways of the module is the breakdown of critical thinking and applying it to communication and writing. We were exposed to the Paul-Elder Framework which has helped me broaden the perspective and given a structure to critical thinking.
